Henry Sy, Sr. (Chinese: 施至成; pinyin: Shī ZhìChéng; born December 25, 1923) is a Chinese Filipino businessman and the founder and chairman of SM Prime Holdings, the largest retailer and shopping mall operator in the Philippines.
       


Lucio Tan was born on July 17, 1934 in China’s Fujian province. His family moved to Philippines, in Naga, where he was a child. He worked his way through college studying Chemistry in Far Eastern University but quit before graduating, set up a business that deals with scrap in the late 1950s and and later on found a job in a tobacco factory where he was tasked to buy leaf tobacco in the Ilocos provinces.
   


Mr. John Gokongwei, Jr., is the founder of JG Summit Holdings, Inc. (JGSHI) and Chairman Emeritus effective January 1, 2002. He had been Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of JGSHI until his retirement and resignation from this position effective December 31, 2001.

1. Many characteristics of PEC's is used in many sector of our daily life or routine. Like planning, we need time management to easily finish our works as a responsible student. And sometimes many of us students are goal setter's because we usually aim for high scores, grades and others like projects. But the usual characteristic of student and entrepreneur have is being a  problem solver because we are problem solvers not just being a student but also being a friend because true friends have misunderstandings that's why we stand as the problem solver of your friendship. That is why I can say that PEC's characteristics are similar to the attitudes we have in our daily lives and routine.

2. PEC's characteristics can have a big contribution for me to be a good or  better entrepreneur because it is the usual characteristics of entrepreneur that I see to be successful nowadays. These characteristics will give me a growing  business that will help me and other people to be successful like other entrepreneurs.

Plasma Televisions - Invention By Necessity

Can you believe that the invention of the plasma television was due to a group of scientists trying to design an improved computer monitor? This is the truth. If it wasn't for the computer industry, we would not have LCD and plasma televisions. People can give the computer credit for being directly and indirectly responsible for a lot of technological advances. It's not surprising that our society being able to enjoy television and computer viewing is a direct result of scientists who tirelessly seek new answers, and occasionally, try to fix a simple problem in their lives.
